Have you ever wished to skip keypad on your iPhone or android handset and just scribble words with your fingertips? If so now’s your chance to do this.
Once you activate this feature you are able to search your content just by writing with your fingertips on any where in your tablet or smartphone. Google automatically scans your writing content and put it into search box.
With help of this feature you can write in both uppercase or lowercase letters as well as symbols such as “&”, “@”,”$” etc. Cursive is not recommended but google manage to do decent job to understand it to some extent.
You can also call up the keyboard any time just by tapping in search box.
How To Turn On Handwriting Feature In Tablets Or Smartphone
1. Visit the main google homepage. Then tap the setting link near the bottom of the page on your smartphone. Using a tablet? Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the page. Then tap “Search Setting”.
2. Scroll down to the “Handwrite” section then tap enable.
3. Tap the blue save button at the very bottom of the page.
If you become fed up of Google handwriting? Just go back to the google search setting and switch handwriting back to “Disable”.
